Dental & Oral Health Faculty Development Programs

• Dental Faculty Loan Repayment Program (DFLRP) 

  Supports dental training programs in recruiting and retaining full-time dental and dental hygiene faculty through loan repayment assistance.

• Primary Care Dental Faculty Development Center Program (PCDFD)

Medical Education Programs

• Medical School Education Program (MSE)

  Supports public medical schools in states with projected primary care shortages to expand or enhance training or future physicians.

Nursing Workforce Programs

• Nurse Education, Practice, Quality and Retention (NEPQR) – Transition to Practice (TPP)

  Supports innovative education and clinical training programs that help expand and strengthen the nursing workforce in rural and underserved communities.

• Nurse Faculty Loan Program (NFLP)

  Provides low-interest loans and loan cancellation opportunities to increase the number of qualified nursing faculty nationwide.

• Nursing Workforce Diversity Program (NWD)

  Expands nursing education opportunities for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds to help diversify the nursing workforce.

Research Training Programs

• Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award Institutional Research Training Grant (NRSA)

  Funds postdoctoral research training focused on biomedical and behavioral health topics that advance primary care practice and workforce development.

Scholarships and Loan Support Programs

• Scholarships for Disadvantaged Students (SDS)
